Okay, last batch of photos from the events that already happened and aren’t really news anymore pile.
The ongoing Mario Kart Wii Driving School Tour made a stop in Las Vegas last month, and as video game related events are a somewhat rare local occurrence, we thought it’d be fun to go check things out.
I met up with Josh and his son Corbin, and the three of us drove downtown to the Fremont Street Experience, where the Nintendo crew had set up for the day.

Fill out your name, birthdate, and favorite MarioKart characters, then stand on the other side of the imac to get a photo taken and receive your very own MarioKart License.
Corbin with his license and MARIO plate. He was particularly pleased that the license would allow him – but not his sister, who didn’t attend – to play the game at home once it was released.
The wheel. I know most MarioKart diehards are going to chuck it off to the side somewhere, but I liked it.
Hey, it’s the Play N Trade guys. Easily the best local game shop, especially if you’re into niche and classic gaming.
Corbin took to the wheel quickly, and gave the game a thumbs up.
