{"id":1950,"date":"2009-10-21T14:06:17","date_gmt":"2009-10-21T21:06:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/driph.com\/words\/?p=1950"},"modified":"2009-10-21T14:08:59","modified_gmt":"2009-10-21T21:08:59","slug":"mcbain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/driph.com\/words\/2009\/10\/mcbain\/","title":{"rendered":"McBain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was going to write a review of the 1991 James Glickenhaus (director of <strong>The Exterminator<\/strong>, <strong>The Protector<\/strong>, and a handful of other similar-league releases) anti-drug revenge movie <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0102422\/\">McBain<\/a><\/strong>, but honestly, you&#8217;ll learn everything you need to know about <strong>McBain<\/strong> simply by watching this brief\/horrible\/awesome scene from the film:<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"480\" height=\"385\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/OLUGBujl2-0&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1&#038;color1=0x2b405b&#038;color2=0x6b8ab6\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n<p>As far as I can tell, it&#8217;s been out of print for years and never officially made it to DVD in the United States. I ended up purchasing a Hong Kong 4:3 release of nebulous legality, which honestly makes the whole <strong>McBain<\/strong> viewing experience that much more special.<\/p>\n<p><strong>McBain trivia<\/strong>!
